History
2006-07: Hansen enjoyed a tremendous junior season at
2007-08: Hansen had a very successful season with Sioux Falls. He was among the league leaders in goals and points. He played on the Stampede’s top line along with Jack Connolly, the league’s leading scorer. Hansen was named to the All-USHL Second Team. Hansen showed that his high school scoring translates well to the USHL, displaying a good drive to the net and a goal’s scorers touch.
Talent Analysis
While it would appear the 6’-1/2 168 lbs forward needs to put some weight on his frame, Hansen is already a very strong and physical player. He has a tremendous ability to attack defenders one-on-one, shows a nice shot, and can create quality scoring chances in transition.
