History
2004-05: With the OHL Belleville Bulls, posted 15 wins in his second season with the Bulls and had 2.64 GAA along with a .920 save percentage. Drafted by the Calgary Flames in the fifth round of the 2005 NHL Draft, 128th overall.
2005-06: Collected 24 wins while posting a 3.08 goals against average and a .916 save percentage. He played in the 2005-06 OHL All-Star Classic. He was injured during late last season, yet still earned the nod as the OHL Third All-Star team goaltender. He was also nominated for the OHL Goaltender of the Year award.
2006-07: Lalande improved on all his numbers from last year and helped lead the Belleville Bulls to a division title. He also had an absolutely fabulous playoff showing, playing a major part in getting the Bulls all the way to the OHL Conference Championships before they fell to the Sudbury Wolves. He only lost one game in regulation in the playoffs, finishing with 10 wins and four overtime losses. He had a 2.55 goals against average and a .931 save percentage. His regular season numbers were also solid as he won 27 games, had three shutouts, a 3.01 goals against average and a .919 save percentage.
2007-08: After attending Calgary’s Training Camp, Lalande was assigned to Quad City (AHL) on Sept. 19. He made his professional debut on Oct. 12 vs. Milwaukee. He earned his first professional win, and the first road victory in franchise history, on Oct. 21 at Grand Rapids. He was assigned to Las Vegas (ECHL) on Nov. 23. He returned from Las Vegas on Dec. 8. He was named first star after making 30 saves in a 2-1 win over Iowa on Dec. 22 at the iWireless Center. He was the Flames nominee for AHL Player of the Week (Dec. 17 – 23) after going 1-0-0 with a .68 goals against average and a .979 save percentage in two appearances. He was sent back to Las Vegas on Dec. 31. He was named the ECHL Goaltender of the Week for the period of Jan. 21 through 27 after going 2-0-0 with a shutout, a .50 goals against average and a .982 save percentage.

Talent Analysis
Lalande is an athletic goaltender with quick reflexes and has a highly competitive mindset. His biggest weakness is very bad puckhandling.
Future
He has the potential to turn into a starting goaltender with a few seasons of minor pro experience.
