Talent Analysis

Ruth, who stands at 6’1, is a tremendous competitor.  He is a stay at home defenseman with improving offensive skills.  Ruth has an outstanding point shot, which is very hard and accurate.  He is well-built and well-rounded, not the flashiest player, but is very successful at winning battles on the ice.  Has a huge heart and good hockey sense.  Must improve his skating.  Ruth is a good puck distributor.
