Tristan King

Prospect Grade: 6.5 C  (About Prospect Grades)

History

2008-09: Plagued quite a bit by injuries, the Minnesotan had his season abbreviated. Despite playing in just 47 games, he established career marks in goals (14), assists (22) and points (36).

Signed after participating in the 2009 Traverse City Tournament.

2009-10:  Fourth year of junior hockey (his second with Medicine Hat).

Talent Analysis

The handsy 19-year-old forward will look to give his numbers a serious boost this season while being a major piece of Medicine Hat’s high-octane offense. King will need to shake off the cobwebs left by a concussion and groin injury from yesteryear and become more involved in the dirty areas to get goals.
